What is Novig?

The CFTC’s public DCM filings list Ludlow Exchange, LLC as Designated on June 16, 2026. Novig announced the same day that it had received DCM designation and could operate as a federally regulated prediction market.

That’s the fact we will stand behind: a named entity, a designation date, and a company that says Novig is that market. We will not convert the press line “expand nationwide” into a claim that every U.S. resident can open a Novig account on the CFTC platform type today.

Novig has a prior path through a Colorado sports-betting license and a later sweepstakes-style product. Those earlier models are not the DCM product.

Who is Novig for?

Sports traders who want an exchange-style book rather than a house sportsbook, and who will check whether the federal product is actually live for them. Confirm the live contract spec and clearing venue with Novig. Reporting around the designation said Novig would clear through a third-party DCO; treat that as secondary until Novig’s own disclosures say so.

ProphetX received DCM and DCO registrations in June 2026. Novig’s public designation is the Ludlow Exchange DCM.
Sporttrade’s CFTC exchange application is still pending; its clearing entity was registered on October 16, 2026. It stopped taking bets on May 25, 2026. It is not currently operating.
Underdog’s owned-exchange story is a different acquisition (Aristotle / UDX) and a different app.

Reviewed this October 28, 2026 snapshot — confirm in-product — new members who verify, link a payment method, and deposit $10 or more receive $50 in Trade Credits. The write-up says the promotion began 8:00 a.m. ET on October 1, 2026 and continues for one year unless Novig ends it sooner.

Terms highlights

Credits arrive as five $10 Trade Credits. They are non-transferable and non-withdrawable.
Usable on listed contracts priced from $0.01 through $0.60. One credit per trade; leftover value on a smaller ticket is forfeited.
Each credit expires 30 calendar days after issuance. Proceeds from a credit-funded trade settle as ordinary funds.
New traders only. Market makers, IBs, FCMs, and affiliates of the exchange are carved out.

Eligibility / geo. 21+ to participate. The terms say the offer is not available in all jurisdictions. DCM designation is not, by itself, a completed 50-state launch.

Where is Novig available?

DCM designation on June 16, 2026 positions a federal product. Operator screens, product certifications, and sports-contract litigation still sit between that order and a usable ticket. Novig said it would keep a 21+ age requirement.
